Three Minds. One Direction.

We advise. You decide.

We help business owners build companies that run better, perform stronger, and grow — while they remain firmly at the helm.

The three ways

Three Minds. One Direction.

Trivium is Latin for three roads. In the Roman school it was the foundation of a classical education: grammar, logic, and rhetoric — the tools for thinking, reasoning, and speaking. Later it became the first three of the seven arts. The name is cut with a Roman V because we meant that. Strategy. Operations. Growth.

Grammatica · Grammar

Operations

The language of the company: reading, writing, and interpreting how the work actually runs — processes, standard operating procedures, lean rhythm.

Logica · Logic

Strategy

How the company reasons: constructing arguments, seeing contradictions, evaluating ideas — staff, vendors, tools, and the honest use of AI.

Rhetorica · Rhetoric

Growth

How the company speaks and persuades: sales, training, vision, and leadership — the public voice of the work.

The case

Why use an advisor?

A hire stays on the payroll. An advisor is brought in for a reason, does the work, and leaves the chair where it was.

  1. 01

    Less than a full-time hire

A salaried person is a wage, benefits, a desk, and someone who must manage them — every month, whether the problem is still there or not. An advisor is the work, for the length of the work. When it is finished, the cost stops.

  2. 02

    A team, not one résumé

You are not betting the company on a single specialty. Three people are on the problem at once — how it thinks, how it sells, and how the work actually runs.

  3. 03

    Decades, held in common

Between them the founders have decades in real estate, banking, retail, manufacturing, law enforcement, investing, technology, and the training of sales and leadership. The counsel comes from years that were spent, not from a framework that was memorized.

  4. 04

    We still own businesses

The founders are current owners of active companies. The Tuesday you are having is not a case study. We know what it costs to operate, and what it takes to operate well.

  5. 05

    You keep the chair

We do not take the decision, the hire, or the signature. We put possible roads on the table. The company chooses. That is the use of an advisor — and the difference from a second boss.

  6. 06

    Outside the hallway

People inside the company are loyal, busy, and close to the habit. An advisor can name what the room has stopped seeing, without a stake in the politics of the building.

  7. 07

You may stop at the picture

Discovery is a finished piece of work. Some companies only need to know what is wrong, then put their own team on the fix. That is a complete use of us. It is not a failed sale.

Counsel

Where we are useful

All counsel

Processes & SOPs

Write the work so it can be repeated. We help you see where the process actually lives — in people's heads, in a drawer, or nowhere — and put it on the table.

Lean operations

Waste is usually a habit, not a mystery. We map the motion, name the drag, and offer ways to run tighter without starving the work.

Staff evaluation

A clear look at roles, load, and fit. We do not hire or fire. We return a picture the company can act on — or set aside.

Vendors

When a supplier, contractor, or tool is costing more than it returns, we help you see the contract, the work, and the alternatives.

Working with AI

Not a stack to install. A judgment about where a model helps the work, where it harms it, and what the company should refuse.

Product & service focus

What you sell, why it wins, and whether it still holds. We look at competitors, the offer itself, how it is marketed, and whether it is obsolete — then the ways to fix it.

The house

Joseph Thompson. Joe Jordan. Patrick O'Connor.

Three complementary minds. Decades in the work of companies — real estate, banking, retail, manufacturing, investing, technology, law enforcement, and the training of sales and leadership. Together they can offer more than one road into a problem. The company still decides.

How we help

We offer possible solutions. The company decides.

  1. I5–20 days

    Discovery

We look at the company as it stands — process, people, pressure. Not to take the chair. To see the room. The fee is $5,000, credited in full if you take a package.

  2. II1–5 days

    Employee evaluation

A clear picture of staff, load, and fit. We do not hire or fire. We return what the company can act on — or set aside.

  3. III1–2 weeks

    Strategy development

Possible paths, named with their costs. More than one solution where the house can see more than one.

  4. IV1 week

    Plan & vision

The direction written so it can be held. Leadership still says the thing. We help them say it plainly.

  5. V1–2 days

    Advisory meeting

We sit with the client. Options on the table. The company decides. That meeting is not a verdict in our mouth.

  6. VI6 months–1 year

    Implementation

We guide the company through the work. Sometimes hands on. Sometimes by training staff or writing the processes. The chair stays theirs. The desk stays open for the length of it.

Discovery

Sit with an advisor. Bring the problem, not a brief.

Counseling and discovery first. Implementation is guided — hands on when it serves, or by training staff and setting the process. The portal stays open for the length of the work. The company still decides.
